HOW CAN BEHAVIOR FREE WORK FOR YOU
Given the proper conditions and the proper consequences, anyone can behave better. Believe it! But it doesn't come without some work. It takes a few tools and rigorous follow-through-the kind of time and energy that many parents and caregivers do not give. Instant remedies and pills don't work and don't yield lasting change.

The Word On Behavior
"
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." -
Hebrews 12:11 (NIV)
Raising children, dealing with behaviors, and helping those we care for overcome behavior patterns can be painful at times. Efforts can seem endless and pointless because changing behavior can take a lot of time. The person, little or big, whom we are trying to help, resists and fights us. But when we persist with good strategies, we do have an impact and indeed, we produce a harvest for that special person.

Shared Experience
About 4 months ago, I began working with a male autistic teen living with his grandparents. They asked for my help as he already had a court date for a number of thefts, and they were desperate. There was constant fighting between him and his grandparents, largely over money. His grandparents began using targeted strategies contained in this web site, and the aggression dropped by 93% during the first 60 days. His grandparents recognized the need for change, and they were rigorous in their follow through. It worked! And it typically does when equipped with the right tools and motivation for change.
